LONDON - Spitzer Space Telescope image contains objects successfully observed in the cold outer solar system. Interestingly, this planet like the Earth, although the condition is much cooler.
"Findings such as this planet is the coldest object ever photographed directly from the outer solar system. Usually we only found a very small star that has a temperature similar to Earth's atmosphere, "said Professor astronomer Kevin Luhman as reported by UPI on Monday (31/10/2011).
He also added that the planet is like a brown dwarf-sized planets moving through space, it beriringin star with white dwarf stars have temperatures as cold as the Earth.
"Basically, what we have found is a very small star with a cool temperature of the atmosphere such as Earth," he said.
Luhman said the formation of brown dwarf stars, like a giant cloud of dust and gas. But because not enough mass to ignite thermonuclear reactions in its core, then there was a failed star that is very cool.
