CALIFORNIA - Google's operating system, Android, known as an open platform based on Linux, will get you away from a challenge, namely Ubuntu.

Canonical, Ubuntu reversed organisasai revealed that Ubuntu has completed the final version of the desktop computer platform, and it plans to focus on long-term goal to expand into all computing platforms, including mobile phones, tablets and Smart TV.

Launched by The Next Web, Monday (31/10/2011), Canonical is ready to bring the experience of the Ubuntu operating system kernel which is open and free, into the mobile devices in the near future. Moreover rumored, the company has been discussing with several partners chipset manufacturer ARM.

"OEMs have a difficult choice, they can build their own operating systems, such as what HP did for a while with WebOS or working in a consortium. Consortium can not win," said Canonical founder Mark Shuttleworth.

This is of course a challenge for the Ubuntu OS to fight ecosystems such as first come, Android, Microsoft and Apple.

Ubuntu certainly have to give a different touch and innovative in responding to these challenges.
