
CALIFORNIA - Microsoft's browser, Internet Explorer (IE) continues to erode. Even last October, becoming the worst downturn since the last three years, according to Net Applications survey.
According surveri, IE decreased 1.8 points to 52.6 percent during October. In the last three months, IE has lost 3.3 points, or 6 percent of the total market or the biggest drop since October to December 2009.
Launched by Apple Insider, Thursday (03/11/2011), Google Chrome and Apple's Safari browser is a winner in the race in October, increasing its market share of 1.4 and 40 percent.
During the month of October Chrome controls 17.6 percent share, while Safari accounted for 5.4 percent of all browsers used globally for a month.
Now the tough competition will occur between Chrome with Safari users are starting to steal the attention of the browser tools. Evidently both browsers is still continuing to increase, with a slight decrease.
