Dieters Should 'Abandonment' Against Hormone

Hormone Effect to Body Weight

NEW YORK - People who often go on a diet seems to be 'let go', because the hormone remains a big influence on weight gain, after with difficulty on a diet.

As quoted by the Associated Press, Thursday (27/10/2011), a recent study found that after one year of dieters on a diet, hormones still urged them to continue to eat a lot.

These findings suggest that dieters who weighed whoever came up not because of their poor diet, but the hormone comes from each person.

"The dieters who fail should not blame themselves for the failure of diet, since eating is a basic instinct of every human being," said Joseph Proietto from the University of Melbourne, Australia, author of the study.

The study also published in the journal New Enland Journal of Medicine this Thursday.

Proiietto and colleagues conducted a study involving 50 obese respondents in Australia, the 10-week diet program. They wanted to see if maybe they could lose 10 percent of body weight each. Unfortunately, there are only 34 people who could lose that much weight.
