CALIFORNIA - Google has recently launched a Mode 'Conversation' by adding 12 new languages on Google Translate for Android.Previously this feature is only available in two languages, namely English and Spanish. But with the addition of 12 new languages now be a more complete vocabulary, such as Portugal, Brazil, Czech, Dutch, French, Korean, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Russian and Turkish.
This application is very interesting, where users can simply speak into the microphone and the application will translate it, and read it with a sound. Users can also play back in their language and application will read it again with a sound big enough.
"This technology is still alphabeth, so that factors such as background noise and accent areas may affect the accuracy of," said product manager Jeff Chin, as quoted by Web Pro News, Friday (14/10/2011).
"But because it relies on examples to learn, the ability of a person's will increase if more frequent use. We want to help users start conversations wherever they are in the world by releasing an early version of this," he continued.
Other features have also been added for easy in speaking and reading, when the user will translate.
"For example, if users want to say 'Where is the Train?' But Google Translate users recognize words as' Where is the Rain? ", Now the user can fix the text before translating it," he explained.
Jeff also explained the user can also add words to personal dictionary that has not been recognized by previous users. The translation can also be enlarged so that it can be read more clearly.
