Study: Dinosaurs 'Hijra' to Find Food

LOS ANGELES - A recent study revealed that the type of plant-eating sauropod dinosaurs do 'migrate' to search for food, if the previous residence of inventory has been depleted.

As quoted by the Associated Press, Thursday (27/10/2011), recent studies reveal that a herd of dinosaurs will make the shift if they did not find enough food in place before. This evidence is based on research of their teeth

An analysis of teeth that have become fossilized dinosaurs to uncover evidence that the long-necked sauropod dinosaur species, a trip to satisfy their appetites. This is evident from the types of rocks that come ingested and left in their teeth.

"Previously, scientists have long claimed that the sauropod migrating in search of food, it is seen from the trail and the form of a large size of their stomachs, making it possible to travel far," said palaeobiologist, Matthew Bonnan of Western Illinoise University.

This latest research is the best evidence that a type of sauropod up to the highlands in order to find food, while in the lowlands inventories have started to thin out, "said palaeontologist Kristi Curry Rogers of Macalester College in Minnesota.
